5 Things You Can Stop Believing About Personal Branding Photoshoots

It’s not uncommon to wonder whether you really need personal branding photos. Yes,

you’ve seen some amazing photos, but aren’t your words enough? Shouldn’t your client list

speak for itself? Surely your corporate headshot is still good enough?

Here’s the reality – you need to give your clients as many reasons as possible to like and

trust you. This will be next to impossible without visuals.

To help you decide whether a personal branding photoshoot is something you should

consider, let’s start by debunking some of the most common myths about them.

1. They Cost A Lot of Money. Too many people are convinced they need to spend a

fortune on a personal branding photoshoot. From sourcing the right location to

hiring a photographic team and buying new outfits, surely these shoots cost a lot of

money? You would be mistaken. Yes, you do want to hire a reputable professional

photographer that specializes in personal branding photography, but that is the bulk

of the cost. You don’t need to pay for an expensive location or five pairs of new

shoes. Planning a personal branding photoshoot is far simpler and more

cost-effective than you might imagine.

2. You Need to Be Photogenic. Even if you hate having your photo taken, with the

help of the right photographer, anyone can look and feel more comfortable in front

of a camera. The result? Great photos that tell your unique story and highlight your

personality.

3. You Don’t Really Need Photos for Your Personal Brand. You might have years of

experience and an impressive list of clients, but this doesn’t mean you don’t need

eye-catching visuals. There are a number of elements that make your brand more

trustworthy and images are one of them. People want to know who they are doing

business with and what they can expect. Personal branding photos create trust and

help you stand out online.

4. You Shouldn’t Be the Face of the Brand. Some people feel they shouldn’t arrange a

personal branding photoshoot because they shouldn’t be the face of the brand.

Having a collection of awkward photos from your past should not dictate whether

you could be the face of a brand today. With the right guidance and a personal spin,

you can be the face of an empowering and unique branding story with ease.

5. Product-Based Businesses Don’t Need These Images. Whether you are selling

products or a service, your customers still want to know more about the person

behind your brand. They want to know more about your passions and values

because it tells them a lot about the kind of brand they’re associating with.

Now that you know a bit more about the common myths associated with personal branding

photoshoots, you can start planning your own and boost your brand before the end of the year!

I can help you with any of these concerns. Here is a link that explains just how my "Personal Branding Program" works and how to join.
