What to Know Before You Come

— The camera loves texture and pattern. Bring your favorite jacket, a hat, statement jewelry — anything with visual interest.
— Red tones photograph very dark, almost black. Blues photograph very light, almost white. Keep this in mind when choosing your outfit.
— Please avoid sunscreen on the day of your session. The chemistry does not play well with it and it can affect your tin.
— Up to 2 people per tin unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
— Your digital download is included with every tin and will be emailed to you after your session.
— Your tin will be mailed to you after it has been properly coated and cured — or you may choose to pick it up at the studio. You will be notified when your tin is ready.

Important: Please skip the sunscreen on your session day. It affects the chemistry and can ruin your tin. Moisturizer is fine — just no SPF.

Model Release

By booking a tintype session with Kimberly Marsh Photography, you acknowledge that your portrait may be photographed and documented during the session process. The resulting images — including your tintype portrait and footage or photography captured during your actual session — may be shared on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and may also be used for marketing and promotional purposes by Kimberly Marsh Photography.

You retain no commercial rights to the images but are welcome to share any digital downloads provided to you for personal use.
